The Village of Lake Orion is located in Northern Oakland County, approximately
45 minutes north of Downtown Detroit.
Lake Orion is 1.2 square miles with a population of 2,710. It was incorporated as a Village in 1859. We are proud of our historic heritage and welcome you to shop and dine in our downtown. Come visit one of our fine parks, and boat our beautiful 440 acre lake.
